As gorgeous as the dress looked in this picture, it didnt look quite as nice as I expected. The dress was so wide in the butt area, I had to get it resized for my body since I couldn't return it since no shipping refunds would be given. Not being petite nor having a small butt (5'8'' Scandinavian), I expected it to fit better. I had read the size chart and thought it would be more on the tighter side but no, it fit perfectly my upper body but not the bottom. It is shaped like a bell....a big one! In addition the picture looks like its some sort of black lace over a silky skirt. I know the description text is accurate but the picture is misleading. Maybe a close up of the dress would be best to show the material. Also the zipper is on the side....not the back as claimed.
This is why I hate shopping online for clothing, its usually a hit or miss. If Newsport could offer in the future the option of getting a refund for shipping it back, I could at least consider shopping in the future but that small feature makes it rather unappealing to shop from you. Sorry :(
