It clearly says it is a MESH dress! I wore this for my wedding, outside in bright sunlight, and it certainly did not show everything, but do not expect it to be completely opaque, as it is a MESH dress with delicate lining.
As for the quality, it wore well, and the frayed edges are intentional and part of the design. Very fairy-like and pretty, and I was pleased to wear it.
I like the look of this dress February 16, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
This dress looks like it has been cut on the cross. Very appealing, looks very feminine soft and comfortable. I imagine it would look good on me. Is an American size 12 the same as the Australian size 14?

Mesh embroidered dress This is a beautiful but simple dress, perfect for many occasions. The fabric is delicate and the dress is a great cut, very sexy, and the embroidery does not overpower the look.

This dress comes with a mesh top and a slip. I don't believe people should be able to see your undies even if it's a MESH dress, not to mention the slip should have done the coverup job (but did not)! Frays everywhere on the mesh top (it unfortunately looks cheap to me and my friends), embellishments poorly done (looks like they were glued on), and you really can just see through this dress under fluorescent light. To be honest the style and design are very feminine and pretty, and it does look flattering on me if you can ignore everything else. But you can't. What a disappointement.
Cheap and formless! March 20, 2007 32 out of 36 found this review helpful
I was hoping to wear this for my daughter's Easter Christening. Well, no dice. It's extremely cheap (very light material, frayed at the edges, and the embellishments seem just ironed on), big and boxy, and the lining leaves little to the imagination. Sending it back!
